PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic waste treatment apparatus wherein a treatment object does not form a wall on an upper part of a treatment tank inner wall, nor stays on agitation blades, allowing sufficient agitation of the treatment object, and treating in a short time. SOLUTION: This organic waste treatment apparatus is provided with the agitation blades 4 rotatingly driven around a rotation shaft 3 vertically set in a cylindrical treatment tank 2, and agitates organic waste charged into the treatment tank 2 by the blades 4. Cutting pins 22 rotating integrally with the blades 4 are provided at the upper parts of the blades 4 from the outer peripheries of the blades 4 toward the inner wall of the tank 2.
