PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality thermosetting polyurethane blade which does not pollute a photoreceptor or toner, and to provide a production method for the blade by which the continuous production thereof is made possible with high efficiency, the production process can easily be automated and simplified, and further equipment cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: This production method comprises continuously forming a sheet for the blade using a synthetic resin as a molding raw material by using a forming drum provided with a forming groove and an internal heating apparatus, and is characterized by using, as the synthetic resin, a two-pack thermosetting polyurethane resin including a reactive catalyst being an amidine compound containing a hydroxy group represented by general formula [I].
