A unit for the treatment of liquid metal with gases is made of refractory material and contains linear gas-permeable zones and distribution channels.. At that channels are made in a way that the diameters thereof be sufficient for passing gases to gas-permeable zones, which size depends on real gas discharge, pressure thereof in the system.
