METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF CLAD SHEET STEEL

A method of obtaining the clad sheet steel involves the preparation of the contact surfaces of billets of stainless and structural steels for welding, application of the interlayer, which ensures the welding of the contact surfaces of structural and stainless steels, assembly, airtight welding on the perimeter, heating and rolling of laminar packet into the sheet. As interlayer the two-layer sheet is used with a thickness not less than 2-3 mm made of structural steel and from iron-nickel alloy. The thickness of iron-nickel alloy is equal to 0.1-0.2 mm.
