摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence detection device, a contrast information correction method, a contrast information correction program, and a scanning type confocal laser microscope capable of correcting deterioration of the contrast information (brightness information) by brown of a fluorescent pigment dying a sample. SOLUTION: This device is characterized by being equipped with a contrast information acquiring means for acquiring the contrast information in an optional wavelength region by performing two-dimensional scanning of a laser beam to the sample, a brown quantity calculation means for calculating the brown quantity based on the first contrast information acquired by the first two-dimensional scanning by using the contrast information acquiring means, the second contrast information acquired by the second two-dimensional scanning in the same wavelength region as the first two-dimensional scanning by using the contrast information acquiring means, and pigment inherent contrast information inherent to the pigment determined beforehand in each wavelength region, and a contrast information correction means for correcting the contrast information acquired by the contrast information acquiring means based on the brown quantity calculated by the brown quantity calculation means.
