JACKING PIPE TOWING DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of a sealing function so as not to cause inflow of natural ground, water leakage or the like.

SOLUTION: This jacking pipe towing device 13 is provided with a front body 15 having an engagement device 18 engaging with a jacking pipe 10A and a frame body 17 receiving a towing force, and a middle body 16 for sealing a section between a jacking pipe 10A to be towed and a jacking pipe 10B not to be towed. The middle body 16 includes: a first cylindrical member 23 of which one end is disposed on the inner periphery side of the jacking pipe 10A; a first water-stop rubber 27 for sealing a section between the jacking pipe 10A and a first cylindrical member 23; a second cylindrical member 24 of which one end is disposed on the inner periphery side of the jacking pipe 10B and of which the other end is provided in a nesting form for the first cylindrical member 23; a second water-stop rubber 28 for sealing a section between the jacking pipe 10B and a second cylindrical member 24; and water-stop packings 30, 31 for slidably sealing a section between the first cylindrical member 23 and the second cylindrical member 24.
