PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of a recording medium or an ink by performing adequate recording of an image even when a luminance of a light irradiation device is lowered. SOLUTION: This inkjet recorder comprises a conveyance device for moving a recording medium P in a predetermined direction, a recording device for recording an image on the recording medium P by using an ink which is cured by irradiation of a light, light irradiation devices 11, 12, 13, 14 each for irradiating with a light the ink deposited on the recording medium P, sensors 15, 16 for detecting the luminance of the light irradiated from each of the light irradiation devices 11, 12, 13, 14 and a control section 17 for controlling the recording device, the conveyance device, the light irradiation devices 11, 12, 13, 14, and the sensors 15, 16. The control section 17 controls the luminance of each of the light irradiation devices 11, 12, 13, 14 corresponding to the light irradiation device having the lowest luminance such that the luminance of the light irradiation devices 11, 12, 13, 14 are made roughly the same, and then controls the radiation time period of the light in accordance with the controlling of the luminance.
