PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a negative ion environment with high concentration around only a user without requiring an installing place dedicated for an electric fan or an air conditioner. SOLUTION: A PHS terminal is one embodiment of a communication terminal device provided with a function of communicating with external devices and a transmitter/receiver used for communicating by a user, which is provided with a negative ion generating unit on the surface of the communication terminal device. The device is provided with: an antenna 11 as an interface as a function of communicating with a public communication line; and a negative ion generating unit 16 disposed between an operation unit rear surface side of the PHS terminal 10 provided with a receiver 14 and a transmitter 15 of a transmitter/receiver unit, for allowing the user to communicate and the surface of the transmitter/receiver unit.
