摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency oscillator the downsizing of which is promoted by obtaining an oscillating frequency being four times of a frequency of a fundamental wave or over. SOLUTION: The high frequency oscillator is configured such that an oscillating active element is connected to two resonance wave points at both sides of a transmission line type resonator in an inverted phase relation to each other, the active elements oscillates waves inverse to each other, output lines are connected to the resonator to obtain a high frequency output corresponding to a standing wave of an even number order harmonic wave. The standing wave is a standing wave with a frequency being a multiple of 2n (n is an integer of 2 or over) of the frequency of the fundamental wave f0 among harmonics of an even number order of the frequency of the fundamental wave, the output lines are respectively connected to symmetrical points at both side of a midpoint of the transmission line type resonator, the symmetrical points are maximum displacement distribution points with an inverted phase to maximum displacement distribution points at the midpoint in the harmonics 2nf0, and the output lines are configured to be connected in common.
