PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent solid cosmetic which excels in a feeling of transparency, exhibits the effect of compensating for irregularities of the skin, has an effect of rendering pores of the skin inconspicuous, and gives an excellent feeling of use. SOLUTION: The transparent solid composition comprises (a) 1-20 mass% dextrin fatty acid ester, (b) 10-40 mass% volatile oil content having a boiling point at atmospheric pressure of≤250°C, (c) 10-40 mass% oil content having a refractive index of 1.4-1.6, and (d) 15-60 mass% spherical powder having a refractive index of 1.3-1.6 and an average particle diameter of 3-30μm.
