PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the amount of air to an engine even when using a common air flow meter for an air compressor and the engine. SOLUTION: A relationship between the speed of the engine and the amount of air in an air compressor is stored in advance. When the air compressor 4 is not operated, a detected value for the air flow meter 2 is used as the amount of air to be supplied to the engine, and when the air compressor 4 is operated, the stored amount of air in the air compressor subtracted from the detected value for the air flow meter 2 is used as the amount of air to be supplied to the engine.
