FLASH LAMP AND ITS ELECTRODE UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a crack causing arc tube leak in a seal part where an electrode lead bar is fixed to a tube end of an arc tube to airtightly seal the fixed part even when a flash lamp is repeatedly lit. SOLUTION: The electrode lead bar 4R (4L) to be fixed to the tube end of the arc tube 2 is fixed to the tube end of the arc tube 2 through a damper 8R (8L) for relaxing stress in lamp operation generated in the seal part 7R (7L) where its fixing part is airtightly sealed by sealing glass called frit or the like.
