PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital audio signal recording/reproducing device which continuously performs reproduction without a time gap, when a track (music) is switched in the middle of the successive music. SOLUTION: In the digital audio signal recording/reproducing device 10, a CPU 1 of a central arithmetic processing means performs recording continuous reproduction information A, as file information, whether a silent part exists at the head of a file or not, on a file information area, when recording on a digital recording medium 5 is performed by a recording/reproducing means, judges whether the file to be next reproduced is the file according to the order recorded on the digital recording medium 5 or not, when the reproduction is performed, precedingly reads out the continuous reproduction information A on the file to be next reproduced only in the case of the older, and succeedingly sends data of the next file, without giving preference to a file closing process, after finishing transmission of the reproduction data of the precedent file to a reproduction buffer memory 8, when it is judged that the file is continuously reproduced, so that the next file is succeedingly reproduced.
