WINDING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method and device for a wire of simple constitution capable of precluding occurrence of beating the wire by accommodating the cut-off terminating wire certainly in a ring-shaped guide even when the severance has occurred on the way of the winding operation. SOLUTION: For winding the wire on a bobbin, the pass-line of the wire 1 on the bobbin is covered with the ring-shaped guide 20 provided with a cutout 25 for guiding the wire 1 and having a width smaller than the winding width of the bobbin 3 whose inside diameter is enlarged gradually. The ring-shaped guide 20 has an engagement part 24 where the wire 1 is engaged by the centrifugal force generated by rotation of the bobbin 3. The ring-shaped guide 20 is put in relative movement to the axial direction of the bobbin 3, or the bobbin 3 makes relative movement to the axial direction of the ring-shaped guide 20. The ring-shaped guide 20 is rotated in the circumferential direction in compliance with the change of the pass-line owing to the winding amount of the wire or caused by changing-over of the bobbins on which the wire is wound.
