PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector preventing diffusion of collected dust to surroundings, while preferably removing dust attached to plastic products. SOLUTION: This dust collector comprises a separation cover 3 having an opening part 4 for carrying in/out articles with dust attached thereto, and a dedusting chamber R1 formed therein; a sensor 16 detecting the article W carried in the cover 3 from the opening part 4; an air jetting part 5 jetting compressed air against the article W when the sensor detects the article W in the cover 3; and a dust collection part 2 collecting dust removed from the article by jetting of compressed air from the air jetting part.
