PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protecting sheet which has an excellent adhesiveness even to a coated plate with a coarse surface roughness, and also has a good peelability after preserving with the passing of time. SOLUTION: The surface protecting sheet comprises an adhesive layer containing a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer as a base polymer on either or both the faces of a supporting substrate, and the adhesive layer is characterized by containing (a) a (meth)acrylate and (b) an acrylic-silicone copolymer having a monomer unit of a radical-polymerizable silicone.
