PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imbalance correcting device which corrects a spin-drying process and a disentangling process based on an amount of imbalance in a spin-drying tub to realize optimization of the spin-drying process and the disentangling process. SOLUTION: This imbalance correcting device for a spin-dryer is equipped with a pulsation amount detecting means 20 to detect a pulsation amount of a rotation speed generated by speed fluctuation in rotation signals sampled during a prescribed time from a rotation sensor 19 in a spin-drying tub 4, an imbalance amount detecting means 21 to detect an imbalance amount showing the degree of load deviation in the spin-drying tub 4 based on the pulsation amount, and a process selecting and spin-drying process correcting means 25 to select an entangling process when an imbalance amount is not lower than a first prescribed value, an intermediate speed spin-drying process when an imbalance amount is judged within and not higher than a second prescribed value, a prescribed spin-drying process when an imbalance amount is not higher than the second prescribed value, and a process selecting and spin-drying process correcting means 25 to select an entangling process or the intermediate spin-drying process based on detection of an imbalance amount again after executing the intermediate spin-drying process.
