There is provided an information device capable of preventing an inappropriate file operation which deteriorates data matching in a particular directory based on an application standard. The information device includes: directory/file information acquisition means (12) for acquiring directory information from a recording medium mounted; list information matching judgment means (14) for judging whether the directory name of the directory contained in the directory information acquired by the directory/file information acquisition means (12) is contained in the list of the directory name based on the application standard defining the specification relating to the data storage for each application; and directory/file list display content creation means (13) used when a directory of the directory name contained in the list is selected, so that access to the data in the directory is enabled only via the application corresponding to the directory.
