The invention relates to a machine for mixing and distributing products, in particular for the feeding of cattle, comprising a skip (1) the base (2) of which comprises a section in the form of a cradle (7) partly enclosing a mixing rotor (10), said cradle (7) is connected along an edge (9) to a section in the form of a cradle (8), partly enveloping an endless mixing/distribution screw (11), with a horizontal axis (11b), running parallel to said rotor (10), for displacing said products from one end to the other of said base (2), in the direction of an opening (17), provided with a moving flap (18), the mixing/distribution screw (11) being driven in an appropriate direction for displacement of the products upwards, opposite said flap (18). According to the invention, the machine is characterised by the fact that the internal face of the flap (18) and optionally that section (8a) of the screw cradle (8) located opposite the distribution opening (17), are embodied such as to diverge progressively from the edge of said screw (11), at least as far as the horizontal plane (P), starting from one of the lines (20) thereof, parallel to the axis (11b) of the screw (11) and arranged above a line (23), corresponding to the intersection of the horizontal plane (P) passing through said axis (11b) with the mobile flap (18), taking into account the direction of rotation of said screw (11) and in the closed flap position, in order to define a section for ejection of the product with a progressive opening (22). This feature limits the problems of clogging of the mix of products in the mixing/distribution screw (11) and significantly reduces the power required for adequate driving of said screw (11). |
