PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system in which a remote operating apparatus can easily confirm a final output result from an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: In the image forming system 100, when the remote operating apparatus 1 edits a job ticket of the image forming apparatus, the remote operating apparatus 1 creates an output result template image denoting the final output result in response to an edit instruction by using a thumbnail picture of an output object and displays a job ticket edit menu by using the output result template image.
