PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper arm by which a favorable wiping performance can be obtained even under a low temperature environment. SOLUTION: A retainer 6 is turnably supported in an approaching/separating direction from a glass surface by engaging a connection hole 22 formed on the proximal end section of the retainer 6 with a connection shaft 13 formed on the distal end section of an arm head 5. In a connecting section 21 of the retainer 6, a guiding rib 27 as a guiding path is respectively projected on both side surfaces 21c. The guiding rib 27 is provided for introducing/guiding water drops adhered to the side surfaces of the retainer 6 in a manner to avoid the connection hole 22. The guiding rib 27 continuously extends from the distal end section to the proximal end section of the upper part 21a of the connecting section 21, bends toward the lower part 21b on the proximal end section side of the connecting section 21, and in addition, continuously extends until reaching the lower edge in the vertical direction of the side surface 21c.
