PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus which enables a cabinet having the same shape to be commonly used among display apparatus having functions different from each other, and the availability of a voice memory to be immediately recognized, and the mounting position of a card type recording medium to be immediately found even from the front face. SOLUTION: An opening section 5 for mounting the card type recording medium (the card type recording medium) 9 is formed on a rear face cabinet 2b at its right side in order to mount the the card type recording medium 9 from the right side of a liquid crystal television set. A front cabinet 2a is formed with a notch section at a position facing the opening section 5 of the rear face cabinet 2b.
