DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING SURROUNDING VEHICLE, NAVIGATION SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for displaying surrounding vehicles capable of accurately displaying surrounding vehicles; a navigation system; and a method for displaying vehicles.

SOLUTION: The device for displaying surrounding vehicles includes a broadly directed radar 3 that specifies the positions of surrounding vehicles by emitting radar waves; a camera 2 that takes frontal images; and a control part 7 that causes the images of the positions detected by the broadly directed radar 3 to be cut out of the images taken with the camera 2 to specify and display the vehicles on a monitor 21. When the vehicles trapped by the radar 3 can no longer be trapped, the display of the vehicles is continued until a predetermined period of time elapses.
