<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce MIDI data as actual and faithful timing even though the data are processed at a receiving side in an electronic musical instrument in which the MIDI data are output to the outside in accordance with the operations of playing operators. <P>SOLUTION: Functions of a time stamp adding module 12a are provided to an electronic musical instrument 12 of a sending side, a time stamp (timing information), which indicates the generation timing of the MIDI data, is generated every time the MIDI data are generated by keyboard playing and the time stamp is added to the MIDI data and output to a controller 11. The MIDI data and the time stamp are transmitted to the receiving side from the controller 11. A controller 21 of the receiving side computes the timing of the MIDI data by using the time stamp and an internal clock 21a and provides piano role-style fingering guide display on a display 22 arranged in the vicinity of an electronic musical instrument 24 on the basis of the MIDI data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
