PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting joint which can be connected to bathwater inlets, different in diameter, of a plurality of types of washing machines. SOLUTION: This joint 7, which is to be connected to the bathwater inlet 8 of the washing machine 4 equipped with a pump for suction of the bathwater, is equipped with an insertion part 10 which is to be inserted into the bathwater inlet 8, and a pawl part which is to be engaged with a flange part 8a on the outer periphery of the bathwater inlet 8; the insertion part 10 is provided with a plurality of O-rings 12a and 12b which are mounted in a plurality of O-ring mounting grooves with different diameters smaller on a leading end side; and a plurality of pawl parts 14a and 14b are also provided.
