COLOR TONER, OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM, THERMOSENSITIVE TRANSFER RECORDING MATERIAL AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic color toner having superior hue, light fastness and transparency, an optical recording medium having superior frequency of reproduction, a thermosensitive transfer recording material having superior maximum density and light fastness, and a color filter having superior light fastness and used in a display, such as LCD or PDP or in an image pickup device, such as CCD.

SOLUTION: The color toner contains a compound represented by Formula (1), wherein Z represents a group forming an N-containing heterocycle; R1, R2and R3each represents H or a substituent; k is an integer of 0 to 2; m is an integer of 0 to 3; and n is an integer of 0 to 4.
