PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a traditional display for a ship requires a large mounting space for it and a large amount of the recognizing work of a navigator of the ship because the traditional display for the ship is provided with a dedicated meter for every kind of the state data values of an outboard motor. SOLUTION: The display 12 for the ship displays various kinds of state data values of the outboard motor 13, such as the temperature of cooling water, the voltage of a battery, the volume of lubricating oil. The display 12 is provided with a dot matrix display section 21 on a part of a display area, the dot matrix display section 21 having the dots which can be turned-on and turned-out, and are arranged in a matrix state, and displays the state data value by a lightening pattern of the dots.
