PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system, capable of carrying out sure monitoring by eliminating blank times of monitoring, at setting of the termination of security mode. SOLUTION: A tentative alarm signal is transmitted from a security device 10, based on a detection signal 1 from a detector 20x (2). A center system 30 starts timekeeping of a first predetermined time, based on the tentative alarm signal (3). When the security mode is terminated, a termination signal is transmitted to the center system (4) and (5), and the center system 30 resets the first predetermined time, to set a non-security mode when receiving the termination signal within the first predetermined time (6). When the center system 30 does not receive the termination signal within the first predetermined time, the center system issues an alarm signal (8), by deciding it as being an abnormal state by elapse of the first predetermined time (7). Thereby, when the first predetermined time elapses, after the transmission of the tentative alarm signal, the abnormal state is surely decided, whereby the abnormal state can be detected, even if the security system is destroyed.
