PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter for a straight member for cutting the straight member such as a wiring duct by rotating a rotary cutter at high speed, which is structured to prevent dust occurring in the cutting from scattering outside from an aperture including a plurality of slots for inserting the straight member corresponding to various sizes of the member. SOLUTION: In the cutter K having a cutting chamber A equipped with the rotary cutter 5 and a driving chamber B including a driving member, guide blocks 11 are provided at both an entrance and an exit of the aperture for inserting the straight member W such as a duct into a cutting section 10 located on the upper part of the cutting chamber A. The guide block 11 is integrally constituted of a first guide plate GP including a plurality of the slots 11a coinciding with the shape of the straight member, a shutter brush BR and a guide rod GR including a plurality of rod-like bodies to have the shutter brush interposed. A second guide plate including a plurality of slots coinciding with the shape of the duct to be cut is provided respectively on opposite internal sides of the guide block.
