<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which an owner can be identified in the unit of a print paper sheet by including a means for coding job information, and by printing the coded image on a corresponding print paper sheet. <P>SOLUTION: When the output of data is requested from a PC connected to a network (Step 1), print data and job information are first received (Step 2). It is decided whether the code of a job is set to be printed (Step 3). When code printing is not set, processing is advanced to Step 7 and only the print data is printed. When code printing is set, the job information is coded (Step 4).
