PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature controller for air conditioning which has only to secure a little space for a friction member imparting friction to a setting dial, prevents leaning or looseness of the setting dial, and stably and accurately performs a setting operation on a temperature-sensing expansion member. SOLUTION: A friction ring 41 made of a thin metal plate is made intercalated between the setting dial 25 capable of fitting a temperature-setting member 29 to a bracket 40 in free turning and back-and-forth movement and the bracket 40, whereby the setting dial 25 is biased in a direction away from the bracket 40. The friction ring 41 is provided with: a ring part in contact with a surface of the bracket 40; four elastic pieces set in extension at an outer periphery of the ring with its tip part pressure contacted with a rear face of the setting dial; and an anti-rotation part by which the bracket 40 is prevented from rotating.
