PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out synchronous photographing by simple constitution and to reduce consumption power. SOLUTION: When a shutter button 16 is depressed, a CPU 51 of a digital camera apparatus 20 discriminates whether or not the digital camera apparatus 20 is in a synchronous photography mode. When it is in the synchronous photography mode, the CPU 51 prohibits a flash light emitting part 12 from emitting flash light. When a photosensitive signal is inputted from a photosensitive unit 17, the CPU 51 controls a CCD unit 53 synchronizing with the input and performs photoelectric conversion by the CCD for imaging to obtain an image signal showing an object to be imaged.
