<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging method by which time required for processing an image can be cut and a manufacturing cost can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In this imaging method, an image is recorded on a recording medium by entering data comprising each dot whose "ON" state and "OFF" state are selected and a strobe to a drive circuit of a thermal head and heating a heating element corresponding to the dot whose "ON" state is selected by a time corresponding to the pulse width of the strobe. When the image is erased, a first piece of the data comprising all the dots selected to be in the "ON" state, is entered and the first stroke having a specified pulse width is entered. On the other hand, when the image is recorded, a second piece of the data comprising each dot selected to be in the "ON" state/"OFF" state are entered together with the first piece of the data and the second strobe having a larger pulse width than the first strobe is entered together with the first strobe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
