BACKLIGHT STRUCTURE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

A backlight structure, comprising a back panel (10); an illuminant and a convex structure are provided on the back panel (10), and the illuminant is provided on the convex structure. The convex structure can be a strip protrusion (30) or multiple concentrically disposed concentric ring platforms (40). The illuminant is fixed on the back panel (10) having a curved surface, so as to change parameters such as a light-emitting angle of a lamp bead and a light source density, thus facilitating homogenization of a source light, improving light mixing efficiency and reducing direct backlight thickness. Also provided is a liquid crystal display comprising the backlight structure.
