PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a flexible printed circuit board employing lead free solder in a disk enclosure while maintaining its high rigidity. SOLUTION: This rotary disk type storage device is provided with an FPC assembly which includes a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) 41 having a wiring pattern disposed to include a signal line for transmitting the signal of data read by the head 33 of an actuator head suspension assembly (AHSA) 3, one side end 4a being fixed to a base 53, and the other side end being fixed to the AHSA3, first and second metal plates 42 and 43 fixed to one side end 4a of the FPC 41, a connector 45 arranged in the area of the first metal plate 42 of the FPC41 to be connected to the wiring pattern, a shock sensor 7 arranged in the area of the second metal plate 43 of the FPC 41 to be connected to the wiring pattern, and a synthetic resin reinforcing plate 44 held between the opposing surfaces of the first and second metal plates 42 and 43 fixed to one side end 4a of the FPC 41 to be fixed together with the first and second metal plates 42 and 43 to the base 53.
