PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack in which melted resin at the time of jointing two half cases by welding can be prevented from flowing out into the inside or outside of the case. SOLUTION: A plurality of welding ribs 11, 11... of appropriate length having a plurality of cut-out parts 12, 12... are provided in the length direction of a side plate 16 at the end surface 15 of the side plate 16 formed at the outer periphery of the upper half case 1. Regulating ribs 21 are formed along the inside face of a side plate 23 in parallel with the length direction of the welding ribs 11, opposed to the cut-out parts 12, at the end surface 22 of the side plate 23 formed at the outer periphery of the lower half case 2. The height H2 from the end surface 22 of the regulating ribs 21 is lower than the height H1 from the end surface 15 of the welding ribs 11 and the length L2 of the regulating ribs 21 is larger than the length L1 of the cut-out parts 12, and facing parts 25, 25 are provided respectively at the end in the length direction of the regulating ribs 21.
