PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic webbing which gives an excellent soft sense, when brought into contact with the skin, whose surface is less liable to be fuzzed, and which has excellent durability and is particularly suitable for hook-and-loop fasteners equipped with strong female portions having strong attaching forces to male portions. SOLUTION: Wooly processed yarns each comprising fifteen or less highly strong fibers are used as warps 2 for forming the female portion Fb to obtain the elastic webbing which has the characteristic excellent durability (including excellent load resistance) of the highly strong fibers, is less liable to be fuzzed accompanying the durability, and has the female portions Fb having the characteristic soft touch of the wooly processed yarns and excellent adhesiveness to the male portions.
