<p>A simple method for fitting a skirting board to the bottom of a wall has a mounting bracket comprising a lower support rail (2) and a vertical upper ratchet shaped grip strip (13) onto which the skirting board is clipped. The rear of the bracket is fitted with a horizontal shaft (3) fitted with a number of elastic discs (8, 9) to form an elastic ratchet grip. The bracket is simply pushed into the bored hole, and tapped home by hammer is required. The skirting board is simple clipped onto the brackets and is easily unclipped, e.g. for access to the integral cable ducts (20).</p> |
