PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition having photocurability, which is useful in various fields and uses such as a coating material, ink, various resists and an adhesive, has an excellent adhesion to a polyester represented by polyethylene terephthalate and forms a cured coating film hardly yellowing with the passing of time. SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition is composed of a biphenylene skeleton-having specific photosensitive compound (B) obtained by reacting 0.1-0.7 equivalent glycidyl group in a biphenylene skeleton-having specific glycidyl compound (A) with a compound (C) having both a functional group (a) reactive with the glycidyl group, and a photosensitive unsaturated double bond; photosensitive components other than the compound (B); a photopolymerization initiator; an organic solvent; and at least one selected from the group consisting of a pigment and an inorganic particle (wherein the case of simultaneously containing the compound (B), the photopolymerization initiator and the inorganic particle having≥1.6 refractive index, is excluded).
