FIELD: agriculture, in particular, protection of farm crops from destructive insects. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves treating growing plants with mixture of suspension of Steinernema caprocapsae nematodes and Fastak insecticide, with concentration of said insecticide being lower than commonly recommended concentration by at least ten times. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability in protecting farm crops from destructive insect imago and reduced toxic pesticide loading. |
