PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a white mold cheese product having a food placed in inside of the white mold cheese, causing no leakage of cheese or flow and leakage of the food, completely indistinguishable from normal white mold cheese on appearance, wherein the cheese is bound by maturing, and to provide a method for producing the cheese product. SOLUTION: This white mold cheese product containing the food is obtained by placing food between molded cheese curds and maturing to bind the cheese curds followed by uniting. The white mold cheese is preferably camembert cheese. The method for producing the white mold cheese product comprises placing the food between molded cheese curds and maturing to bind the cheese curds followed by uniting.
