PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bubble generator not generating water leakage due to back flow of hot bath water even in the state of not operating a bubble generator. SOLUTION: In the bubble generator having a bathtub 5, a hot bath water suction opening 6 for sucking the hot bath water in the bathtub 5, a hot bath water discharging opening 7 for discharging the hot bath water to the bathtub 5 after dissolving air into the hot bath water sucked from the hot bath water suction opening 6, and an air suction means 2 arranged in a circulation path from the bathtub hot water suction opening 6 to the hot bath water discharging opening 7 and having an air suction section 2a for sucking air, and generating fine bubbles in the bathtub 5, the air suction section 2a has a filter on its side face, and is arranged near a lower portion of a flange disposed at a outer peripheral end of a upper portion of the bathtub 5.
