<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic welding device capable of secure sealing of metallic tubular sections or tubular pieces. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes an oscillating sonotrode 54 having a first welding face 52 and a counter electrode or a pressure receiving stand 48 having a second welding face 50 corresponding to the first welding face. The first and second welding faces 52 and 50 have mutually similar or generally similarly curved profile, and further, the second welding face 50 is made into a grooved geometrical shape elongating along the longitudinal axis of the oscillating sonotrode, thus their shapes are securely fitted each other, and, in the case of tube welding, optimum deformation and welding are made possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
