PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device and the like capable of quickly offering more useful information to a customer.

SOLUTION: This information providing device is provided with an image data acquisition means acquiring image data about an advertisement print to which commodity information about a commodity is placed, a means displaying the advertisement print image based on the image data of the advertisement print and receiving selection of at least one or more pieces of the commodity information in the advertisement print, and a commodity information providing means providing the commodity related information corresponding to the selected commodity information.
