<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since a conventional dialog system is made available only when a user voluntarily turns on a power source, the user carelessly forgets or becomes troublesome to turn on a switch in many cases, and the use frequency of this system is low. <P>SOLUTION: This dialog system is configured to refer to the history of the use of this system on daily basis, and to, in a time zone when a user uses this dialog system on daily basis, start the power source of this dialog system in order to enable the user to perform a dialog from the system side without turning on a power source.
