TEMPERATURE-SENSITIVE ACTUATOR AND TEMPERATURE-SENSITIVE SWITCH USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature-sensitive actuator suitable for the cutoff of a large current and a temperature-sensitive switch using it.

SOLUTION: The temperature-sensitive actuator has the following constitution. A case 1 is provided with a movable part M which has a shaft 2a and a magnet member 3, and a fixed part S having a temperature-sensitive magnetic body 4 in which magnetic permeability is reduced as a temperature rises, and a magnetic member 3 which imparts a force in the shaft 2a direction to the magnet member 3. The movable part M is attracted to the temperature-sensitive body 4 by the magnet member 3 when the temperature of the temperature-sensitive magnetic body 4 does not exceed a prescribed value. The magnet member 3 is separated from the temperature-sensitive magnetic body 4 and moved to the shaft 2a direction when the temperature of the temperature-sensitive magnetic body 4 exceeds a prescribed value. The magnetizing direction of the magnet member 3 is nearly perpendicular to the shaft 2a direction. The magnet member 3 is provided with a columnar part 3a extended in the shaft 2a direction. A tubular part 5a by which the columnar part 3a can be loosely fitted to the magnetic member 3 is provided to the magnet member 3.
