ORIENTED FILM, CELLULOSE COMPOSITION, CELLULOSE FILM, AND BENZOIC ACID PHENYL ESTER COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose composition, with which an oriented film having good optical characteristics and a film having good optical performance can be formed.

SOLUTION: The oriented film contains at least 1 type of compound represented by following general formula (1). The cellulose composition contains cellulose and at least 1 type of compound represented by following general formula (2). In general formula (1), R0to R10each independently denotes a hydrogen atom or a substituent and at least one of R1to R5denotes an electron-releasing group. In general formula (2), R1to R10are as defined in general formula (1). R8denotes a hydrogen atom or a substituent such as 1-4C alkyl group.
