PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground hollow structure which can secure a groundwater flow after construction. SOLUTION: A wall member 2 made of precast concrete, which is inserted into ground so as to form a side wall part 3A of the underground hollow structure 1, is formed. The member 2 is equipped with a water passing hole 51 which is provided below a bottom slab part 6 of the structure 1, and an opening/closing means 52 for opening/closing the hole 51. After the wall part 3A of the structure 1 is formed of the wall member 2, the hole 51 is opened by the opening/closing means 52, so that the groundwater flow below the underground structure 1 can be secured.
