PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolysis type ozonizer which can control the deposition of inorganic substances onto a cathode by a low-cost and simple structure, is small in size, and can generate high-concentration ozone water. SOLUTION: In the electrolysis type ozonizer 1, an anode 12 at least the surface of which is made of metal having an ozone generating catalytic function is brought into contact with one surface of a solid electrolyte 14, and the cathode 13 is brought into contact with the other surface of the solid electrolyte. A direct-current voltage is applied between the anode and the cathode to generate ozone water.
