PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication transfer apparatus and a communication transfer method capable of transferring communication at a low cost without the need for requesting switching of a port number to a global IP network side. SOLUTION: The communication transfer apparatus rewrites a local Internet protocol address of a transfer source terminal described in a record related to transfer among records in a masquerade table utilized by the Internet protocol masquerade into a local Internet protocol address of a transfer destination terminal while keeping a global port number of the record.
